Salt Lake City, UT – January 6, 2015 – NetDocuments Acquires Decisiv Email and plans launch of NetDocuments Email. NetDocuments, a leading cloud-based document and email management service, today announced the acquisition of Decisiv Email from Recommind, an information intelligence company focused on advanced analytics for discovery and investigations. This acquisition includes Decisiv Email’s development team as well as the technology. Decisiv Email is a mature, enterprise-grade email management solution with years of technology development in intelligent, predictive email filing, which will bolster NetDocuments’ service offering.
According to ILTA’s 2014 technology survey and purchasing survey, email management remains one of the most pressing technology issues facing law firms today. Decisiv Email solves email management issues by understanding email content and user patterns in order to accurately predict where an email should be filed. It then allows users to file email with just one click. This one-click technology not only vastly improves the desktop email filing experience, but also provides the most viable method of filing email on mobile devices through its native app. The capability to file email on the go, and doing so with the current solutions in the market, is a cumbersome process that Decisiv Email directly addresses.
