NetDocuments, a leading cloud-based document and email management service (DMS), today announced it has received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 Certification confirming NetDocuments meets or exceeds international standards for data privacy, security, and information governance practices.

The ISO 27001 certification comes only weeks after NetDocuments announced its next generation encryption key management technology,including the ability for customer firms to hold and control encryption keys for specific, confidential data. “The ISO Certification is a critical component of our overall security, encryption, and compliance infrastructure across our global datacenters,” Alvin Tedjamulia, NetDocuments CTO commented. “The demand for a modern and intuitive document management system has never been greater, and so are the requirements for privacy, security, and encryption.
